A friend of mine once said that having a newborn baby is ‘both the longest time and the shortest time of your life.’ Although the period of round the clock feeding, changing and settling can seem like forever, newborn babies change so quickly in a matter of weeks. You’ll look back and wonder where the time went.
A newborn photo session will help you capture all the details of your newest little one as you all settle in to life as a family. Through a series of baby-only and family photos, you’ll have created some memories of this special and unique time. In the coming years, your family will get a great deal of joy looking back on these images with your child – what they looked like as a baby, what their parents and siblings were like and the details of your home.
A newborn session typically lasts around 3 hours to allow for feeding, settling and breaks. Newborn babies are best photographed between 5 and 14 days old so book your session before your due date.

I’m based in Melbourne’s north and happy to travel within Melbourne for photo sessions. Locations outside Melbourne may incur an additional travel expenses fee.
